Clé de Beauté (The Key to Beauty) was founded by two childhood friends: Lilian and Yoyo after years of searching for the perfect beauty regimen. They tried many different beauty brands--some worked, some did not, which was frustrating and definitely expensive.
As a chemist and pharmacist, Lilian was very familiar with product make-up, like active ingredients, purity and potency. She knew that most beauty brands aren't able to deliver stable active ingredients at an affordable price point.
They started looking outside of products with long lists of ingredients and relied on a beauty regimen that did not depend on product stability or active ingredients. Instead creating a product line that was affordable and guaranteed effortless beauty.
